Tractor, Diesel Engine & Transmission Remanufacturing and Repairs

Tractors sent in for reconditioning and rebulding are dissasembled in there entirity and painstakingly remanufactured to origional condition with all wear parts replaced and reconstructed to origional factory condition. All spare parts are sourced from the UK. Panelbeating and spraypainting is outsourced to a profesional company and finishes are done with top quality 2K paint. All oil seals, bearings, pistons, liners, oil and water pumps, gauges, wiring, tyres, lubricants, brake linings, bushes, tie rod ends, hydraulic pump wear parts, gearbox spares and pressure plate are replaced. A 6 month unconditional warranty is given on all rebuilt units.

Motor engineering works are personaly undertaken by Angelo Pera with in exess of 50 years experience in the field of rebuilding Perkins,  Ford & other motors. All liners are replaced with semi finished sleeves and rebored in place. Valves, guides and seats are redone as a matter of course. Small end bushes are fitted and machined. Crankshafts reground to a max of 40 thou and all walsh plugs replaced. Castings are acid washed and crack tested.

Injector pumps & injectors are sent to a Bosch accredited diesel pump specialist for reconditioning & calibration.















Silverton Radiators service and repair all fuel tanks and radiators to a new condition and if not posssible new units are fitted along with water hoses, radiator cap, water pump , walsh plugs and antifreeze.

Transport & recovery is undertaken by Speedshift cc with fully equipped transport trucks fitted with secure ramps and 50 ton winch.

Site Repairs

Generally site repairs are undertaken as an emergency fix to an immediate problem where a unit is required to continue operation until available to be comprehensively repaired in a fully equipped workshop.
